    I've heard the good reputation of W124 as a reliable and comfortable ride and I'm looking forward to getting one in the next few months or a year heavy on the road tax. I had a look at this for RM20k - 30k I could get a pretty decent ride. Presumably if I want something that is not too expensive to run then I should go for smaller engines as it can be found in E200 (200E) or E230 (230E). But what about E260's and E300's? Are they worth the extra costs incurred in fuel consumption and road tax? So what should I look for when shopping for a W124?

    We had been able to pair our Samsung s2 & s3 to the bluetooth BUT for some reason it just wont find or connect to MB bluetooth any longer.
    Is there a way to reset the MB bluetooth ? So we can start all over again? We are supposed to be able to connect car to our mobile ph internet BUT this doesnt work in practice. Whats the point in offering something if it wont, cannot and will NOT allow such connections. Is there a trick to this ? l would HAAATE to spend more money for a bluetooth as having paid soo much for the E250 what it comes with ought to work first time EVERYTIME.

    i have a problem with my w211 e320 cdi with om642 engine. several days ago when i normally cruising car went into the limp home mode. i turned off and on the car problem goes away and immediately come back after 0.5 mile. so, day after i went for diagnosing the problem master defined the EGR disfunction problem. and he unplugged the EGR electro connector. so , car didnt goes into limp home mode but power decreased after that. 1. EGR cleaned by another master but problem still there. 2. EGR replaced but problem still there another diagnostic result showed turbo problem. turbo actuatos seems ok. is the problem can be Exhaust back pressure sensor ?

    Can anyone advise - I have just replaced my CLP with a second hand one after the original pump failed. The new pump is working when I press the remote key for all functions. But the doors, boot, back rests and fuel cap do not work at all even though the the pump running. I do not believe that I have any leaks in the system. The doors did lock and unlock with the old pump until it failed. Do I need to run the the engine to build up the vacumn in the system before it will operate the features correctly. I had the old pump disconnected for several weeks until I fitted the new pump.I would appreciate any comment / solution if anyone out there can help.

    1st id like to say hello, i just joined this site after reading a fair bit about the car, sorry is a 2008 e280 cdi 3L V6.Ok so the reason im posting is i have an issue My car was going great for the entire 7 weeks i owned it, yay, then it had an engine light come on.I had one of those cheap scanners and it told me turbo solenoid (the car basically had no acceleration and the accelerator wouldnt actually allow the transmission to kick down)Anyway i removed the actuator and gave it to a mate who works with electronics, he replaced the motor and little plastic gear, he also said he tested the circuit board and everything was great.


    So i refitted it, got rid of the fault code and no improvement .... so after pulling my hair out i took it to a garage and they used it, so they found an oxygen sensor issue) They said they do not know wtf is going. Then the car drives for half an hour and then no power, so i pull over restart and bingo power again for half an hour on if its coming back and going again ...... can someone shed some light plz? Wondering if O2 sensor is capable of affecting boost control?
